Mouthwash can help get the final particles of food from the hard-to-reach places, and if you don&#8217;t follow the spit-don&#8217;t-rinse advice for toothpaste, it would be better than using plain water to rinse out after brushing. Normally you should use mouthwash at a different time to brushing. Some mouthwash can result in staining, so your teeth may be healthy but they don&#8217;t look as clean.
